FEB. 2, 2022 – Four months after acquiring VisualStar, it’s time for Are Agency’s next expansion. “By the structural collaboration with video company to make The House of Spark official and henceforth go through life under one brand name, we at Are Agency have the final piece of the puzzle to call ourselves a full service agency.” Ruben Baestaens proudly shares.
The friendship of Ruben Baestaens and Ken de Kort, founder of The House of Spark, dates back to school. Both entrepreneurs founded their businesses as student entrepreneurs. After their studies at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool they shared an office in the heart of Antwerp for a few years.
Over the past period Are Agency and The House of Spark have on several occasions successfully collaborated on various projects for both start-ups and large SMEs.
“The synergy between Are Agency and The House of Spark and the added value on joint projects was very quickly apparent that it was too crazy not to join forces permanently. I am therefore very much looking forward to the fact that from now on we can offer both content and performance marketing under one roof with a growing team of more than 15 people.” says Ken de Kort

So that close collaboration now results in a joining of forces under the name “Are Agency.
A market full of opportunities
Ken de Kort is known in the Antwerp entrepreneurial community as a content and video marketing expert. You can find him regularly at networking events as a guest speaker.
That this gives a range of new opportunities for Are Agency, is an understatement. Ruben: “I am very much looking forward to the months and years ahead. With the addition of Ken as partner and video lead, I know we are far from our glass ceiling.”
That it burns with the two entrepreneurs to build a bright future together for both Are Agency’s current and new clients is putting it mildly.
