What are product variations?

You may be selling products of which there are many variations. So you can sell a white laptop, a black one, a gray one, and so on. These products are variations of each other.

These products all need their place in your WooCommerce. It would be a lot of work if you had to enter all these variations one by one. So that’s why you can easily use product variations. You can offer a product here and customers can then choose what color or size they want the product in. You can also give the different products a separate price that will automatically adjust depending on which property the customer clicks on.

Just how do you add a variable product?

1. Log in to your website
2. Go to ‘products’
   You can find this on the left side of your dashboard.
3. Click on the product you want to make variable or add a new product
4. Scroll down, below the ‘long product description’ text box
5. Select ‘variable product’
6. Choose the properties that your variable product has
7. Click update to save your changes
