When you think of marketing, you immediately think of commercials, big companies like Coca-Cola and what it will cost you.

 

Big top 500 companies use millions of dollars as a marketing budget. But what should you do now as a small business? Many small businesses do not have enough money to achieve their marketing goals. This is completely wrong thinking!

 

Of course, they cannot mount such a large campaign like Coca-Cola but they can use several other free or low-cost methods.

You can grow your business using marketing without spending tons of money on it.

 

If you spend some time getting to know Google Analytics, you can see where your customers come from, what they do on your site, what interests them and much more. Try new things. If they are happily received by the customer, you know you need to use this in the future. If your customers don’t like it, you’ve found a new way you don’t have to spend time on anymore. You’ll learn what works for your audience and what doesn’t.

You don’t even have to spend much of your time for this. Try focusing on your marketing for 10 minutes to an hour a day and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

 

Using social media allows you to reach many fans and potential customers “for free.” This won’t cost you any money! Start by inviting your friends and acquaintances to do this. They will support you in this and share your stories with their friends. Before you know it, you’ll be an Internet hit.

 

Create a marketing plan. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated.
Use the 4 P’s (Price, Place, Product, Promotion), write down your goals, time frame, money you want to invest….
You will find that once your vision is ready and clear you will get much more done in shorter time.

 

Also, be sure not to forget to check your statistics regularly. This shows whether your money is going to the right place.

  • Give away free helpful information (in exchange for a mail address)
  • Try some Google ads and see what they get you
  • Word of mouth still remains an important source
