What are plugins?

A plugin is a code or program that you can add to a blog or website. WordPress is used by many different people. Not all of these people have the same needs.
That’s why WordPress has plugins.
These ensure that each user can use what they need. Some users do not need any plugin, while others need a lot of them.

The great thing about plugins with WordPress is that these plugins often already exist.
So you don’t have to fiddle with complicated codes yourself to get something done.

How do I install a plugin?

1. Log in to your website
2. Go to plugins
   You can find this on the left side of the page.
   
3. Click on ‘Add new’
4. Find the desired plugin
   On the right in the search bar you can type in your desired plugin and search
   
5. Click on ‘install now’
   Once you have found the right plugin, you need to install it. This is easily done by clicking the ‘install now’ button to the right of the plugin.
   
6. Follow the steps
   Several steps will appear on the screen.
7. Click activate
   Once you have done all the steps, you should click install.Enjoy your plugin.
