PHASE 7 : FANS
The next two steps aim to turn this customer into a real promoter of your business. Initially, this will still be rather passive promotion and the customer is not going to take any action yet. An example of passive promotion, is a positive recommendation of your company when friends/family ask their opinion. It is often thought that marketing does not apply to these last steps, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Example
After purchasing a product/service, you provide the opportunity to leave a review. You post the review later as a social media post.
